Grand Master Ho Jin Song
Grand Master Ho Jin Song is one of the most renowned grand masters of Hapkido in North America and Korea. He is also the founder of the Dohyun International Hapkido Federation.
He has attained the highly respected rank of 9th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido through the International Hapkido Federation. In addition he also holds the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, 1st Degree Black Belt in Kumdo and is a Taekkyon Expert.
Grand Master Song is also a former Lieutenant Colonel in the famed Republic of Korea Marine Corps. He has served as the hand-to-hand combat instructor for the Korean Presidential Bodyguard, the United States Navy at Treasure Island and Great Lakes, the United States Air Force at San Antonio and the United States Marines at Quantico.
Grand Master Song also served with the United Nations Command Headquarters for the United States Forces in Korea, Eighth Army from 1970 to 1982.
Grand Master Song is well known for his enthusiastic devotion to detail in his teaching and for the complete development of his student's bodies,
minds and spirits.

U.S. Commendation metal from the U.S.A. During his 19 years of service he worked for 12 years in the NCC/USFK/EA in Seoul as an Intelligence Officer.
Honorary Chief Instructor for the Close Quarters Combatives Advanced Course from the US Special Operations Command and the Joint Special Operations Command.
Award of Appreciation from the U.S. House of Representatives and Congressman Mervyn M. Dymally to Honor Grand Master Song's contributions and services in sports as well as the American Community through Hapkido.
All Dan levels presented to Grand Master Song by the International Hapkido Federation of Seoul, Korea.
Certificate of completion from the Korean Modern Acupuncture Research Society for completion of Fundamental Clinical Acupuncture Course.

Grand Master Song was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1967. He was a platoon commander and
communications officer and later became an intelligence officer. He received an honorable discharge after 19 years of service leaving the Republic of Korea Marine Corps. as a Lieutenant Colonel.
During his service Grand Master Song was a member of the Korean Marine Corps. Taekwondo team for five years, during that time the team was undefeated.
Grand Master Song as served as Hand-to-Hand Combat Instructor for the Korean Presidential Bodyguard.
While working with the United States of America's Armed Forces he was a hand to hand combat instructor for the US Marine Corps, US Navy and the US Air Force.
Grand Master Song also served with the United Nations Command Headquarters for the United States Forces in Korea, Eighth Army from 1970 to 1982.
